I'm taking you guys to Hip hop 101 today.  i know a lot of you guys were probably lil kids and maybe didn't even know what hip hop was at that time but this is the era where hip hop was considered golden.  The Show is a hip hop documentary that everybody who already loves, is getting into, or wants to know more about the culture should watch.  i was born in the 80"s and fell in love with hip hop in the start of the 90's.  a lot of these artists featured in this documentary i grew up listening to and even till this day hold a special place in my heart.  if there is anything you should watch on this site, this should be it.  shouts to worldstarhiphop.com for posting it and i hope everybody enjoys it like i did and still do.  for the love of hip hop one time.

German car tuners Brabus have released information on their latest project, an upgraded version of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and they are calling it the Brabus GL 63 Biturbo.
Brabus have replaced the standard GL-Class engine with a more powerful Mercedes ML 63 AMG motor. They have also added a more responsive twin turbo system, large water-to-air intercooler and other upgrades to the exhaust. All these modifications have whacked the horsepower up to an impressive 650 hp.
The GL 63 has a top speed of 186mph (300 km/h), and hits 60mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds. Controlling all this power is a modified version of the Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive.
This custom car gets an upgraded suspension system and a choice of 21, 22 or 23 inch wheels to ride on. The Brabus wide body kit includes fender flares, rocker panels, a new front apron, larger air inlets, LED daytime running lights, underfloor lighting, four extra headlamps, roof spoiler, rear apron and a rear diffuser.
Interior upgrades include Mastik leather, Alcantara, and a choice of wood or carbon-fiber trim. A full pallette of color options is offered for each. LCD screens are integrated into the seats for the rear passengers, who have access to a DVD player.
The super-truck will be unveiled in a couple of months at the Geneva Motor Show, but is available for order now from €368,000 ($518k).

After three weeks of voting and tallying up over 40,400 ballots, the people have made their choice for XXL’s Best Cover of the Millennium. And the winner is… The March 2003 cover featuring Eminem, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.

Although the Shady/Aftermath trio snagged top honors, it wasn’t an easy victory. Easily making it out of the first round with 64% of the popular vote, the March 2003 cover took an early lead in the top 10 poll. Still, 2002’s winning cover boys, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (June 2002), had a firm grasp of the second place spot and as more loyal fans came through to vote, the legendary Cleveland lyricists were catapulted ahead of the pack at the start of the final day of voting.

However, Em, 50 and Dre’s fan base was too much for the Midwestern rhyme spitters as a last minute surge pushed the “three headed monster” back to the top before polls closed at 5 p.m. EST. When the dust settled, the March 2003 cover secured 34% of the popular vote with 3,264 ballots, while Bone Thugs kept things interesting with 2,934 ballots giving them 30% of the popular vote.
