I was watching both of the "We are the World" videos and I found it interesting comparing the artists from both past and present.  Each era has their share of characters and outlandash individuals, the thing thats changed the most is how the artists and music have evolved.  The music of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and the other legends will always be classic to us and 5 years from now the music from Kanye West,  Lil Wayne, and Wyclef Jean might be classic to this generation.  Artist's are always going to create cause thats what they do so don't just dwell on the past look for the gems of the future.
